No account, no email address, no name. YT2MP4 doesn't store the videos you convert, and it doesn't keep a history of which links you've looked up tied to your identity.
To convert a link, the YouTube URL you paste is sent to our server so it can be looked up. That lookup is transient — it exists only for the moment it takes to process your request, not as a stored record afterward.
To keep the tool responsive for everyone, request counts are briefly tracked by IP address purely for rate-limiting purposes. This data expires automatically within minutes and isn't used for anything beyond that.
Like virtually any website, our hosting and network providers (Cloudflare) may log standard technical data — IP address, browser type, timestamps — for security and reliability purposes, governed by their own privacy policies.
YT2MP4 does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Converting a video involves communicating with YouTube's own infrastructure to retrieve it — YouTube's privacy policy governs that part of the exchange.
